Let Me Recognise My Problems Have Been Solved

One of the lessons from A Course In Miracles is titled “Let me recognise my problems have been solved ” :

If you are willing to recognise your problems, you will recognise that you have no problems . Your one central problem has been answered, and you have no other . Therefore you must be at peace . Salvation thus depends on recognising this one problem, and understanding that it has been solved .

Only be certain that you do not forget that all problems are the same . Their many forms will not deceive you while you remember this . One problem, one solution . Accept the peace this simple statement brings .

We believe problems are caused by something external from us and that if only we could solve the problem then we would be at peace . However, if you have been on Earth for a short while you find once one problem is solved, it’s not long until another one comes along . It is in fact our ego which literally creates our problems and then labels these events as problems .

Problems are created for one reason and that is to keep us separate from our spiritual Self . The ego needs problems and even when there is not one, it will soon create an event which needs to be solved, because when we are at peace it is a vacuum into which “spirit” can enter . The ego never tolerates this state of affairs for long .

As A Course In Miracles says there is only one solution to all the myriad problems we seem to have and that is to rejoin with our spiritual Self . The ego does not like this as it believes it would mean its death and has created defences against this, urging us to look externally and not within where our Self lives .

You do not have any problems . Problems exist only in the Mind and are self created . Ultimately, the problem you think needs solving is yourself and you need fixing . You are perfect and therefore do not need to be fixed or solved . All is perfect .
